Contact us

We are a church in the town centre that loves to welcome students! Some of us are students, some of wish we still were. We welcome students from Essex University, the Colchester Institute, and further afield…

TRAVELLING IN FROM CAMPUS

If you can find Burger King in the High Street, then you can find us. If you’re coming by bus on a Sunday morning, we recommend taking the 62A bus at 10:14am from Boundary Road (opp Valley Road)  to Greyfriars (stop Hb) in the High Street. This will get you into town in plenty of time to grab a coffee or some breakfast and come along to the top of the High Street for the start of the service. If you miss the 10:14am bus, there’s another one at 10:44, although that will get you in slightly late (don’t worry, we’ll still let you in!).

STUDENTS AT ESSEX UNIVERSITY

  • If you’re a student at Essex, we encourage you to get stuck into the Christian Union – and you can find out more about the CU here.
  • For those from an international background, or who would like to support international students, then we recommend the Friends International ministry on the campus.
  • If you’d like to know more about the Christian support available on campus, then do talk to Rev Julia Murphy, the University Chaplain.
